Overview Of Peace Trust
The organization Peace Trust consists of the Board of Trustees with 5 members, who are the decision makers pertaining to all the programs and activities undertaken by the organization. The Managing Trustee implements the activities on behalf of the Board of Trustees. There are 2 full-time, 3 part time and 6 volunteers who shouldering the implementation part of the organisational activities.
General Objective
Educate the Public and Provide Care & Support for the children infected and affected by HIV/AIDS.
Specific Objective
Accommodate the orphan, semi orphan and poor children children in the Sneham Children’s Home and provide all kinds of care and support to make them self dependent.
To educate the community like Teachers, Parent Teachers Association (PTA) members, women Self Help Group (SHG) members, Elected Panchayat Raj Institution (PRI) members and gain their support for the betterment of the HIV/AIDS affected parents and children.
Organise the people living with HIV/AIDS and establish Self Help Groups to support each other and make use of the resources available for their betterment.
Conduct skill training programmes and establish income generation activities for the life survival of the infected HIV/AIDS people
To impart health education on Nutrition, T.B, Common Diseases, Care and Support, Medical Services available etc. and prepare the people to be aware of the diseases and causes.
To render monthly support under home care services for the affected family members to fulfil their basic needs.
